We know you’re on the forefront of the COVID-19 coronavirus situation. It’s a stressful time, and we want you to know that we appreciate you and all you to do serve our communities.
LifeFlight Eagle will remain in service, ready to assist you by providing critical-care transport for patients in need.
We have decided to suspend our outreach education courses through April 30. We recognize the potential exposure all EMS and hospital staff face in our daily jobs, and we want to minimize the risk of spreading anything among students and between agencies in a classroom setting.
We know many paramedics and EMTs are completing the final hours for National Registry recertification that was due March 31. The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) has extended the deadline for 2020 recertification to June 30. Likewise, the American Heart Association has extended the grace period for BLS, ACLS, and PALS cardholders for 60 days and encourages employers to recognize that extension as well.
We remain committed to providing outreach education to emergency personnel throughout our region. When we resume classes, we will collaborate with host sites to open additional capacity and course dates to ensure we meet the needs of our partners in patient care. This will include dates prior to the National Registry recertification deadline for those requiring specific subjects.

We’re sending happy, healthy thoughts your way. Please stay safe.
