Conference FAQs
Who should attend?
This event is designed for paramedics and nurses dedicated to advancing their critical-care skills. Please see the agenda and course descriptions for more information.
Can I earn continuing education credits?
LifeFlight Eagle will issue Missouri EMS CE or Nursing CE to participants who attend and complete all course requirements, including post-tests and evaluations. Participants in Day 1 (12-Lead ECG Interpretation) will earn 8 hours of CE. Participants in Day 2 (Waveform Capnography) will earn 4 hours of CE, for a total of 12 possible hours.
What are the conference hours?
We recognize that many of our attendees may be coming off overnight shifts and/or traveling 100 miles or more to attend the conference. We planned the start times to accommodate those travels, and to allow time for breakfast and networking among your peers in the morning. Registration will open at 07:30. Breakfast will start at 08:00, and class will kick off at 09:00.
We’ll serve lunch about 13:00 on Day 1, and wrap up about 18:00. We’re working to finalize details for an informal after-hours get-together, so stay tuned for additional details!
On Day 2, we will follow the same schedule with registration opening at 07:30, breakfast at 08:00, and class starting at 09:00. We will wrap up about 13:00. In order to keep costs down, no lunch will be served on Day 2 (but we’ll have some snacks and goodies around so no one gets hangry). Please see the agenda and course description page for more information.
Where will the conference be held?
We are grateful to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty for allowing us to use their fantastic facilities at a significantly reduced cost. This generous support helps us keep registration fees affordable, and ensures that the contributions from our donors can be utilized more effectively.
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is located at 1600 Rte 291, Liberty, MO 64068. The specific room and directions will be provided to registrants in pre-conference emails.
Will food be provided?
We will serve breakfast both days, and lunch on Day 2. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please note them on your registration form so we can accommodate accordingly. We’re also working to finalize details for an informal after-hours get-together with hors d’oeuvres, so stay tuned for additional details!
Are there any evening events or networking opportunities?
We encourage you to take advantage of meals and breaks to network with colleagues as well as with our generous supporting organizations. We’re also working to finalize details for an informal after-hours get-together on Monday evening with hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and the option to purchase adult beverages. Stay tuned for additional details!
